Track certificates and renewal dates

Gas safety, electrical reports, EPCs and more, with a weekly email when something needs attention.

What you can track

Keep each certificate against its property, with the expiry date and a copy of the document. Welodge knows the usual validity period for each type and suggests an expiry when you enter the issue date.

  • Gas safety certificate (12 months)
  • Electrical safety report, EICR (5 years)
  • Energy performance certificate, EPC (10 years)
  • Smoke and CO alarm check (12 months)
  • Legionella risk assessment, landlord insurance, HMO licence, selective licence, and an "Other" type for anything else

Steps

  1. Go to Compliance.
  2. Add an item, choose the property and type, and enter the issue and expiry dates.
  3. Attach the certificate if you have it.

The page shows what is missing, what has expired and what expires within the next 60 days.

The weekly email

Every Monday morning Welodge emails everyone on the account a list of items that need attention, but only when there is something to report. Available on the Landlord plan and above.

Good to know

Welodge shows the items most let properties are expected to have. Which ones you actually need, and how often, depends on your property and your tenancy. Check the current rules with the relevant authority.
